Social Messaging Tracker for January 2017 shows increases for a second quarter in a row in Facebook Messenger & WhatsApp account ownership.
15 February 2017 – Ipsos MRBI’s Social Messaging Tracker (January 2017) shows increases in account ownership for both Facebook Messenger & WhatsApp. Account ownership for both social messaging platforms rose by 3%, to stand at 58% and 56% respectively. WhatsApp records a 4-point increase in daily usage to 63% and Snapchat records a 3-point increase in daily usage to 70%.
